How Many Kids Does Hoda Kotb Have?

Hoda Kotb's Family Is the Definition of Sweet, and Here's Some Hard-and-Fast Proof

A gigantic congratulations is in order for Hoda Kotb and her boyfriend of five years, Joel Schiffman — they're officially a family of four! The Today Show anchor broke the news that they adopted a little girl, whom they named Hope Catherine. And while we're beyond excited to celebrate Hoda's most recent addition, we can't wait to see how Hoda's 2-year-old daughter Haley Joy takes on her big sister responsibilities.

Although there's only one or two photos of Hope floating around the internet so far, we can't wait to see the sweet family snaps down the line. Scroll through to meet Hoda's adorable children and try not to squeal in the process.

After being told she couldn't conceive due to a cancer diagnosis, Hoda formally adopted her oldest daughter, Hayley Joy, when she was 52 years old. Despite trying to put the thought of motherhood out of her mind, at one point she just had to share her desire to be a mom with Joel. "So I never talked about it," she told Dr. Oz in an interview. "Then one day, sometimes you can only push your feelings away for so long and then you say, 'That's enough.' I have to say it out loud."

Hoda and Joel welcomed a second baby girl into their lives this week. After Hoda shared the good news on The Today Show on April 16, her co-anchors sent the new mom of two well wishes on Instagram, writing, "Congratulations are in order for Hoda Kotb, who adopted a second little girl, Hope Catherine, this week." How sweet!
