Between parenting five kiddos and a running a design brand that always seems to have multiple projects taking place at the same time — we can't get enough of the Hearth & Hand holiday line! [3] — it's hard to believe that Joanna Gaines has time to breathe, let alone sleep. In a recent interview with People, [4] she opened up about what life's been like with her 4-month-old son Crew [5], and what she has to say is surprising.
According to the 40-year-old mama, welcoming her fifth baby into the world has gave her "an extra kick" in her step. "It woke me up a little bit. Life was doing its thing, and this baby — typically you feel tired, but this baby, he's just like my second wind," she said.
