Kat Von D Is a Mom! See the Sweet Way She Announced the Home Birth of Her Baby Boy
Kat Von D is a mom! The celebrity tattoo artist and her husband Leafar Seyer — whose real name is Rafael Reyes — have welcomed their first child, an adorable baby boy named Leafar Von D Reyes. On Dec. 2, Kat shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of Leafer Sr. holding his mini me, both donning matching all-black outfits while standing in front of a stroller.
"Thank you to all our beloved friends+family, fans+followers for your patience in us announcing his long awaited arrival!" wrote the makeup mogul, who opted for a home birth. "To be honest, my husband @prayers and I want to take the next 40 days [the 4th trimester] to focus on the baby and our amazing relationship transitioning into amazing parenthood — so, please excuse us if we're not on here as much for a little while."
Leafar also took to Instagram to show off the latest addition to his family, sharing a gallery of photos with his son. "Whats about love? My Wife and my son are. It might not look like it on the outside but on the inside I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life! This year has given me so much to be happy and grateful for," the musician and author wrote. He also gave a sweet shoutout to Kat, adding, "I love you so much kitty I've never seen anyone fight for anything the way you fought to bring our son into this world." Aww!
