Khloé Kardashian Opens Up About Her Decision to Stop Breastfeeding: "I Tried So Very Hard"

Khloé Kardashian is opening up about the "relief" she felt after deciding to stop breastfeeding. On Twitter, the 34-year-old star and mom to 2-month-old True Thompson said she tried several nursing methods and tips before ultimately coming to the decision.

After being asked if she pumps whenever she's away from her daughter and working, Khloé said she had to stop breastfeeding and added, "It was really hard for me to stop (emotionally) but it wasn't working for my body. Sadly." Khloé also described her experience as "different" and "frustrating" because it had been so much easier for her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, to breastfeed with her three children.

That's not to say she didn't give it her best effort. In other tweets, Khloé said she "tried every trick in the book," including power pumping, lactation cookies, massages, and even help from a lactation specialist. "I tried so very hard to continue," she said.

Now that she's come to this decision, however, Khloé is appreciating having that pressure lifted after previously spending all of her downtime "stressing to produce more for the next feeding." She said, "I fought and fought to try and continue but then when I actually stopped, I didn't realise what a relief it was for me to not stress and worry anymore."
