Wondering If There's a Postcredits Scene in The Lego Movie 2? We've Got Your Answer

Ever since Marvel made it a trend to add mid- or postcredits scenes to the end of its movies, getting up at the end of any movie — Marvel or not — now comes with hesitation. Because "Will there be a postcredits scene?" is always a question viewers ask themselves before heading out of the theatre covered in popcorn crumbs, we've got the dish on one of the latest releases for kids: The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.

Is there a postcredits scene in The Lego Movie 2 to stick around for? The short answer is no.

However, if you didn't go out to see The Lego Movie 2 with your kids this past weekend, you may not know that while everything is still awesome (even though the animated film's trailer warned us that things had become a bit grim in Bricksburg), things are also now "Super Cool." That's right, there's a new song in town (in addition to "The Catchy Song") called "Super Cool" by Beck featuring Robyn and The Lonely Island, and it plays during the end credits of the movie. So while there aren't any additional scenes at the end of The Lego Movie 2, there is a new song your kids might want to boogie to as the credits roll.
