Apparently, a Netflix documentary has had a lasting impression on Meghan Markle [1]. While attending the International Women's Panel at King's College in London [2], the Duchess of Sussex opened up about how much a line in Feminists: What Were They Thinking? [3] meant to her. The documentary stars Jane Fonda, Laurie Anderson, and Lily Tomlin and centres on the work of Cynthia MacAdams, a photographer who made it her mission to take pictures of influential women throughout the 1970s.

Recently, the soon-to-be mama spoke about how she and Prince Harry plan to raise their baby as gender fluid [4], and now she's adding the term "feminist" to the list. "Its funny, I've actually been joking the last few weeks. I had seen this documentary on Netflix about feminism, and one of the things they said during pregnancy was I feel the embryonic kicking of feminism,'" she said. "I loved that, so boy or girl, whatever it is, we hope that that's the case with our little bump."
