Now That She’s a Mom, Melissa Joan Hart’s Response to Clarissa’s Behaviours Is “Mmm, Nope”

It's been quite some time since the teens on our TV screens were played by Melissa Joan Hart, Jodie Sweetin, and Tia Mowry-Hardrict, but all three '90s stars are moms now — both in real life and on Netflix series (No Good Nick [1], Fuller House, and Family Reunion, respectively). To celebrate Mother's Day [2], the three ladies got together to talk about what their current characters would have to say to Clarissa Darling from Clarissa Explains It All, Stephanie Tanner from Full House, and Tia Landry from Sister, Sister, and it feels completely mind-blowing to see them all together in one room. My '90s heart is racing, y'all.

"My character Liz on No Good Nick [3] parenting Clarissa?" Melissa Joan Hart says, speaking of her characters now and then. "Clarissa had a boy climb through her window, she was constantly on her computer, fighting with her brother endlessly and setting traps for him . . . I feel like my character Liz would be like 'Mmmm, nope.'"

The actors also touched on what their parenting styles are like in comparison to their characters' and how relatable each character is in her own way. Watch the full video of the three '90s idols and modern moms discussing their past and present roles above.
