The actress recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres [1] Show, where she regaled the talk-show host with a hilarious anecdote about her 1-year-old daughter, Katherine Kaling [2], and how she's essentially a mom boss.

"I didn't know how much bribery there was in being a parent. Every time I see her, it's like Tony Soprano," Mindy said. She added, "I go up to her, and I'm like, 'Hey, you have to give me the remote control.' And she's like, 'Give me your car keys.' She's like in the mob. She's smart, and she can barely talk.
