Mom Trying to Get Eye Drops Into Her Husband's Eye: "I've Had 3 Babies, It's Not Painful!"

When it comes to putting in eye drops, there are two types of people: those who can effortlessly aim the drops right into their eye and those who are completely helpless, missing their twitching eyes several times before giving up all together. Lauren Parker's mother falls into the former category, while her dad Tony falls into the latter; so when her dad got Lasik surgery requiring aftercare drops, it made for quite the hilarious family affair.

"My dad is a 50-year-old man who can't put in eye drops, and had to get my mom to do it for him," Lauren wrote in a now-viral tweet featuring a video of the pair attempting to get drops into Tony's eyes. "This is why I love my parents so much."

In the video, Tony, whose wife points out he's a "grown man," can't stop squirming and closing his eyes as she tries to point the dropper into his eye. After his wife tells him to close his mouth and stop moving, he asks her to show him how to do it, and she swiftly demonstrates her competence. In awe, he replies: "Oh my god. Oh my lord!" Feeling inspired, he lets his wife take a second stab at helping him while he sits down in his desk chair, but he can't get over the fact that he thinks it will be painful. "I've had three babies," his wife says. "It's not painful!"

For those wondering if Tony's drops ever made it into his eyes after the camera stopped rolling, Lauren says, "And no, he never got them in."
