Mom Uninvities Unvaccinated Child to Birthday Party

We Can't Blame This Mom For Not Allowing an Unvaccinated Child at Her Daughter's Birthday Party

A Reddit chain discussing vaccinating kids is going viral after one mom shared a recent experience involving her 7-year-old daughter's birthday. In the post, the mom explained that after sending out invitations, she learned that one of her daughter's friends from dance class wasn't vaccinated. To compound the issue, the birthday girl's best friend had just recovered from cancer treatment, meaning she wasn't able to receive her vaccinations yet and was at risk. Unfortunately, after the birthday girl's mom tried to explain this to the other parent, the situation got ugly.

"My daughter's best friend is in remission from leukemia and is immunocompromised," wrote the mom. "An unvaxxed kid could kill her. I uninvited the dance kid and very nicely explained the situation. Her mother loses her sh*t and tries to get us kicked out of the dance school they attend . . . Heard immunity saves lives when it comes to kids fighting cancer."

As soon as the mom shared her experience on the forum, people immediately started chiming in with their thoughts. Read on to get a look at the reactions.
