Walt Disney once said, "Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world." Well, he wasn't wrong, as Disney Parks across the country are getting quite a few new attractions, resorts, and festivals [1] in 2019. Disney Cruise Line [2] is also ringing in the New Year [3] with some well-loved celebrations and magical ways to bring families together. The one thing we bet a lot of people are excited about is Star Wars [4], which is going to be highlighted across Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line. Get Your Ears On — A Mickey and Minnie Celebration at Disneyland Park

Can you believe Mickey and Minnie Mouse are 90 years old? Disneyland is celebrating this huge milestone starting in January 2019. Guests will discover new and enhanced entertainment plus limited-time decor, specialty foods, and merchandise throughout Disneyland Resort [6]!

The Return of Mickey's Soundsational Parade at Disneyland Park

Starting Jan. 25, 2019, Mickey's Soundsational Parade is going to be making its way through Disneyland Park. There's a new opening inspired by classic Mickey pull toys, then Chip 'n' Dale arrive with a celebration cake as Mickey and his drum corps kick off a procession of beloved Disney characters.

Mickey's Mix Magic Nighttime Entertainment at Disneyland Park

Mickey's Mix Magic is lighting up the Disneyland sky starting Jan. 18, 2019. This high-energy show is going to be shown nightly, with state-of-the-art projections, lighting, and lasers, all in celebration of Mickey Mouse. On select nights, the show will be enhanced with the addition of fireworks.

Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure

Jan. 25 through Feb. 17, Disneyland Resort will ring in the Year of the Pig for Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure [7]. The first Disneyland After Dark special ticket event of the year is Feb. 7, 2019. Sweethearts' Nite will bring guests into a fairy-tale romance with access to rare character greetings, photo ops, entertainment, themed food and beverage, attractions, and more.

Disneyland After Dark: '90s Nite

Disneyland After Dark is also going to be celebrating a beloved decade on March 7, 2019, with '90s Nite [9], which will allow guests to have access to fireworks, entertainment, character greeting, complimentary keepsakes, and more.

Jessie's Critter Carousel

One of two attractions coming in 2019 to Disneyland's Pixar Pier [10] is Jessie's Critter Carousel. This newly reimagined attraction will feature Toy Story pal Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl and all of her animal pals.

The second new attraction to open in 2019 at Pixar Pier [11] is going to be the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind. This attraction will be located within the Inside Out Headquarters in the western end of the pier.

Tropical Hideaway is set to open in late 2018, so it's still going to be pretty new in 2019. Located near the Jungle Cruise attraction, this new dining location will serve a variety of unique foods and beverages, including Spiced Vegetable Bao, Kaffir Lime Chicken Bao, and Bulgogi Beef Bao.

Opening in early 2019, Ballast Point brewery is going to be at the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland. This new dining option is going to bring guests into a 7,000-square-foot, family-friendly space. It will feature Downtown Disney District's first-ever on-site brewery, tasting room, kitchen, and outdoor beer garden.

Halloween Time at Disneyland

Returning in September 2019, Halloween Time at Disneyland [14] will bring the spooky season to life. Guest will encounter festive decorations, attraction overlays like Haunted Mansion Holiday, and specialty treats.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

The biggest single-land expansion in Disney history is coming Summer 2019 to Disneyland and Fall 2019 to Walt Disney World. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge [16] is a place where guests can live their own adventure and explore Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. The land will include two new attractions and a new restaurant. One great thing about Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is that it will feature original music created by John Williams, who has composed the score for the Star Wars films.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Join a battle between the First Order and the Resistance, including a faceoff with Kylo Ren on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. No matter which side you're on, the attraction is sure to leave guests in awe.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

The Disney Skyliner

There's a new transportation system coming to Walt Disney World, the Disney Skyliner [17]. Epcot Forever

The Incredibles Are Coming to Hollywood Studios

There's going to be new nighttime entertainment at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World as well, with the debut of "Wonderful World of Animation" as part of the park's 30th anniversary celebration. The show is going to use state-of-the-art projection technology to celebrate 90 years of Disney animation, starting with Mickey Mouse! The show is set to debut in May 2019.

Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway

Starting Fall 2019, guests can begin to experience Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway [19], which is located in the Chinese Theatre where The Great Movie Ride was in Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. This new attraction is going to be the first-ever themed to Mickey Mouse and is modelled after the Disney Channel's Mickey Mouse cartoons.

Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party

Disney's Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World is launching a new dance party featuring some of your favourite friends like Timon and Rafiki from The Lion King. This show is going to be presented daily on the Discovery Island stage starting January 18, 2019.

The Tower at Coronado Springs

A new 15-story tower is set to open Summer 2019 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney World. The tower is going to feature a roof-top restaurant with incredible views of nightly fireworks.

Disney Riviera Resort

A new Disney Holiday Club resort is going to be opening in Walt Disney World in Fall 2019. The resort is themed after the European grandeur Walt Disney experienced in his travels, and the resort will be connect to the Disney Skyliner.

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill

Wolfgang Puck [21] Bar and Grill opened in December 2018, and is going to be a popular place to eat in 2019 at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World. The new restaurant features some of the celebrity chef's signature dishes, including smoked salmon pizza!

Jaleo

Another new top chef-led restaurant opening at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World is from José Andrés. Jaleo is opening late 2018 and will feature traditional and contemporary Spanish cuisine.

Themed Disney Cruise Line Vacations Return

Out at sea, Disney Cruise Line [22] has announced the return of themed cruises. These popular cruises are on select sailings and include Star Wars Day at Sea, Marvel Day at Sea, Halloween [23] on the High Seas, and Very Merrtime cruises.
