19 Times Jason Momoa Proved He's the Ultimate Adventure-Loving Dad

In this Instagram post, Momoa told his followers that it was one of Wolf's dreams to climb mountains (likely because his father is an avid climber himself). In order to fulfill his son's dreams, Momoa took his children on their first big hike and camping trip — at 12,000 feet!

Judging by these videos, this isn't the first time the actor and his children have gone boarding together. Here, they cruise through the mountains and have a blast with their Bear Walker boards.

What do you do for your birthday when you're the daughter of Jason Momoa? Go rock climbing, of course. For Lola's 11th birthday, the family harnessed up and took to the climbing walls. And from the looks of it, Lola's doing an impressive job.

As if climbing rocks and mountains weren't impressive enough, in this clip, son Nakoa-Wolf shoots a bow and arrow with his dad. Not just any bow and arrow, though, but ones that he made himself!

Your son catching his first fish is definitely worth documentation. In this post, Momoa captured his son doing just that, as well as paddleboarding and climbing an incredibly tall, steep mountain.

The kids and "Uncle Ethan" were all smiles after taking a joyride through Joshua Tree in California. Judging by their thrilled faces, they were more than ready to go again.

According to Momoa, Malibu Creek has been his playground since he was 20. Due to his love for the spot, he brought his kids there to adventure around 17 years later.

How picturesque is this? The trio held hands as they strolled down the beach in Australia. If you look closely, you can see that the kids' jackets say, "One childhood. Live it well." We're glad it looks like they are.

Jason cheered as Lola accomplished her first V4 climb in Yosemite (an impressive feat, if you ask us). From there, it looks like both kids enjoyed a hike back with their dad.

No rocks or mountains? No problem. On a trip to Spain with his kids, Momoa turned away for one second and turned back to find both Lola and Nakoa-Wolf scaling outdoor columns.

Likewise, the kids were found climbing up trees during another hike with their father. Jason encouraged the "monkeying around," happy that they love climbing just as much as he does.

The family celebrated New Year's Eve 2016 in true Momoa fashion — by setting off mini rockets. Wait for the rocket to activate its small parachute, prompting the kids to chase after it.

The Momoa children spent a weekend indoor rock climbing with their dad and his old friend Chris Sharma (who's an epic climber himself). Sharma and Momoa have been friends since they were teenagers, so we're sure it was a weekend filled with fun.

Adventures don't always take place in nature (as much as the Momoa family loves those that do). Here the family enjoyed attending a Port Adelaide Football (aka soccer) match while decked out in team colors.

When Jason flew out to San Diego for Comic Con, he brought his kids along for the trip. He even posted a photo of them hanging out with Chris Pratt once at the convention.
