The Always Relatable Pink Has a Hilarious Message For the "Parenting Police"
If there's one thing we love about Pink (ok, there are a lot of things) it's her transparency as a parent — the mother of two has never shied away from keeping it real about how hard jugging it all can be, not to mention, the onslaught of criticism she often gets as a mom. And a recent Instagram post in which she sarcastically calls out the "parenting police" has us giving her a standing ovation.
Pink posted a photo of her 8-year-old daughter Willow happily running through water and it's her caption that's worth calling out. In it,Pink gets ahead of the ostensible parent-shamers by jokingly shaming herself for letting her daughter experience joy. Joy? How dare she!
"Here's a picture of my child running through water. It wasn't even filtered. What a waste of water.And no helmet? I hope she had sunscreen. If she slips and falls she may be traumatized for life. And her mother wasn't even there. I was..... gasp....working!!!! In another country," Pink writes.
