The crowds are significantly smaller once school is back in session, and you can save money by sticking to just one park a day. If you let your kids choose their two to three must-dos, you can make this a fun and much less expensive weekend getaway.
Niagara Falls
If your family is equipped with passports, then we recommend seeing the falls from the Canadian side. The Fall colours are spectacular, and your children will likely be delighted by a ride on the iconic Maid of the Mist. Before you leave, take a drive to the picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake for some lunch, shopping, and, of course, wine for you.
