Ever since giving birth to a son seven months ago, Rachel McAdams [1] has been tight-lipped about her motherhood experience [2]. In fact, the Disobedience actress stayed so quiet, she just confirmed she was a mom for the first time in an interview with The Sunday Times UK.

"I want to keep his life private, even if mine isn't [3]," said Rachel. "But I'm having more fun being a [mom] than I've ever had. Everything about it is interesting and exciting and inspiring to me. Even the tough days — there's something delightful about them."

According to Helena de Bertodano [4] — the journalist who interviewed Rachel — the new mom showed up to answer questions in your standard mama uniform consisting of a "grey shirt, baggy pants, and sneakers," and yep, that sounds about right to us. "I don't even know what I'm wearing today," she said. "The shoes are held together with glue. Isn't that sad? I need to get a life . . . I have clothes on and that's a good thing."

Although there's no doubt that becoming a mom is one of the most challenging times in a woman's life, Rachel is taking the entire experience of putting someone else first in stride.

"It's the greatest thing that's ever happened to me, hands down. [People say] your life is not your own anymore, but I had 39 years of me, I was sick of me, I was so happy to put the focus on some other person," she said, adding that, "I waited a long time [for motherhood]."

And for whether or not another baby's in the cards? Apparently, Rachel's open to the possibility, saying: "I think there is definitely room for more."
