Ryan Gosling’s 4-Year-Old Thinks He Works on the Moon Because of His Latest Role, and LOL

Ryan Gosling has been spending a lot of time in a space suit in recent months, filming his upcoming movie, First Man, the story of Neil Armstrong becoming the first man on the moon in 1969. During a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live, in which Jimmy asks Ryan if his daughters, 4-year-old Esmeralda and 2-year-old Amada, got to see him in his "astronaut's outfit," Ryan shared that his 4-year-old in particular may be a little confused about his job.

"They came to set and came on this day when I was shooting a launch scene, so I was in the space suit and pretending to launch. I think they think I'm an astronaut," Ryan said. He added, with the best look on his face, "My oldest said the other day — she pointed to the moon and was like, 'That's where you work, right?'"

LOL.

Ryan seems unsure as to whether or not he should be correcting his daughter, but Jimmy's advice? "Always lie to your children."
