A Teacher Took First-Day-of-School Photos Up a Notch by Doing His Own Rendition

Erick Watkins, a teacher with a kickass sense of humour who works in New Jersey, USA, recently took the mother of before-and-after school photos, and frankly, he deserves an award. In a now-viral post he shared to Facebook on Sept. 4, Erick shared a side-by-side photo of what he felt like before his students actually set foot inside the classroom . . . and how he felt after.

He captioned his masterpiece, "8 a.m. outside my classroom waiting to meet my new students. I'm so excited. 3 p.m., I met them!" And we'd be remiss to acknowledge that it pretty much sums up every teacher on the planet's exact mood. Since posting the hilarious photo, it's been shared 86,000 times and amassed more than 34,000 reactions, confirming that cute little kids aren't the only ones who can rock the back-to-school photo beat.
