Trader Joe's Is Dropping a Treat-Filled Advent Calendar For Dogs, and Cue the Excited Barks

Although it's true that humans can't get enough of Advent calendars, whether they're filled with wine, tequila, or even socks, there's something to be said for getting your furry friend in on the action this holiday season. Thankfully, Trader Joe's has your pups covered with a brand new treat-filled Advent calendar made with dogs in mind.

Although the details of the product are still under wraps, Trader Joe's confirmed in the eighth episode of Inside Trader Joe's podcast that they are planning to sell a pooch-inspired Advent calendar. Jon Basalone, the president of Trader Joe's stores, said it's "the advent calendar for your dog. Every day they get a little treat." The jury is still out on whether or not the calendar will span 12 or 24 days, but either way, this is something dog owners are already excited about.
