Watch Kelly Clarkson Embrace Her Flaws in the New Trailer For UglyDolls

The UglyDoll plush toys that we all know and love are officially coming to life on the big screen this Spring. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, Kelly Clarkson debuted the trailer for the upcoming animated movie in which she voices a character named Moxy. "My whole dream was to be in an animated film," she told the host. "But I did think I'd play a princess, so it's pretty funny that mine is UglyDolls."

In the movie, Moxy lives in a town called Uglyville, where all of the dolls and toys who don't quite come out as expected go, as opposed to being sent to toy stores. Moxy is joined by other "ugly" plush toys as they travel to the town of Perfection, where everyone looks perfect, in the hopes of being sent off to find a child who will love them as they are. It's a pretty adorable story, with an important underlying message about embracing what makes one different. Clarkson is joined by an all-star cast that includes Nick Jonas, Janelle Monáe, Blake Shelton, and Emma Roberts.
