Amy Schumer shared with fans on Oct. 22 that she and her husband Chris Fischer are expecting their first child [1]. In a fitting way for Amy, she let people in on the news in two ways — one hysterical, one inspiring. First, the expectant mom posted a photoshopped photo of her and Chris [2] on top of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle [3]'s bodies, then directed followers to head over to former CNN Chief White House Correspondent Jessica Yellin's account [4], where the news was officially announced in her Stories dedicated to encourageing people to vote in the upcoming midterm election.
The double-duty announcements managed to be both silly and purposeful, embodying Amy completely. And it was pretty perfect that Amy used a photo of Meghan Markle cradling her own growing baby bump [5], as we think based on the timing of this announcement, Amy is also due in the Spring of 2019, just like the Duchess of Sussex [6].
Check out Amy's announcement photos ahead, and get excited for Spring with us! (So. Many. Babies. [7])
