Whole Foods Just Announced Major Perks For Amazon Prime Members — Hello, Discounts!

Starting on Wednesday, June 27, all Amazon Prime members will get exclusive discounts at all Whole Foods stores across the country, as well as Whole Foods 365 stores. All you have to do is download the Whole Foods app and log in with your Amazon username to get a "prime code" to scan at checkout, or you can connect your Amazon Prime account with your phone number and provide your number at the register. Following the news that the company is bumping up its annual subscription prices, we got word of an exciting update that is just another reason why the speedy service will still be worth every dollar. Following its purchase of Whole Foods last year, Amazon just announced that Prime members will receive an additional 10 percent off sale items and additional discounts throughout the store.

According to an exciting tweet from Whole Foods, all shoppers will have to do to access the discounts is download the Whole Foods Market application and sign in with their Amazon information. To find the discounts in your local store, you'll see blue signs across aisles boasting special deals for Prime members and yellow signs indicating the extra 10 percent off sale items. Then the cashier scans your app during check out to apply the discounts. It's that easy!

The discounts are available at all Florida stores and will be rolling out nationwide this Summer. So, get ready to go shopping and save on "a good mix of produce, meats, and seafood," according to The Wall Street Journal.
