Finding your group of mom friends is one of parenthood's greatest joys. While your kids are playing, you can actually relax and have an adult conversation with your "tribe" — well, as much as your children will allow before they interrupt. It's not easy making friends at any age, but it can be especially awkward and tricky when kids get put into the mix. It can be difficult to figure out who you really click with, but when you do, you don't ever want to let them go.

Thankfully, the stars can help determine which mom friends really knock it out of the park, and which need some extra care. While some signs make naturally great mom friends, some are best left at the playground. Here are the signs that make the best mom friends, ranked from best to worst.

Virgo (August 23-September 22) — To keep a friendship going, someone needs to be the planner. Virgos, with their innate desire to organise, make people happy, and fix problems, are the perfect mom friends. Everyone knows that it can be a struggle to get the kids out of the house, but the Virgo mom, and her meticulous planning, will give you a reason to meet up. Whether it's a simple playdate at the park or a multiple-family holiday that she's been planning for months, the Virgo mom will think of everyone's needs and keep the energy alive.
Aries (March 21-April 19) — No matter what you suggest, the Aries mom will find a way to see you. Known for appreciating adventures and trying new things, this sign is ruled by a desire to learn and grow. This zest for life is important for a mom friend, because you can't just drag anyone to the new indoor playground. You need someone who can appreciate the ups and downs that parenting brings, and that is exactly an Aries mom friend.
Pisces (February 19-March 20) — The Pisces mom friend really knows how to go with the flow. This compassionate and easy-going sign loves children, and therefore makes a great mom friend, especially when the going gets tough. Potty-training accident in the park? Gemini (May 21-June 20) — Known in part for their talkative nature, these party twins love having get-togethers. If you need a mom friend who has your favourite drink already on ice, then look no further than a Gemini. Your kids will think she's funny because she doesn't talk down to her kids, but instead treats them like adults. You'll appreciate the fact that you can be open and honest with her, even about the weird and gross stuff that comes with having children.
Taurus (April 20-May 20) — These hard workers have the magic of patience. While they can be exceptionally stubborn, it's that same drive to see things done right that makes them a great mom friend. These amazing Taurus moms will offer advice and help you figure out the best route to take.
Leo (July 23-August 22) — Occasionally stubborn and childish, this sign can be hit or miss. While they love being a part of a group and are exceptionally loyal, they also put their family and self first. So while you should love being mom friends with a Leo because of the loyalty and fun, be aware that sometimes you may fall down her list of priorities.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21) — This sure can be a fun sign — they're known for being delightfully spunky, after all. They throw great get-togethers and are easy to crack jokes with. However, the Sagittarius mom friend might flake from time to time. Their energy runs so wild that it can be hard to pin down.
Libra (September 23-October 22) — Libras are a lovely sign filled with passion for their family, and they have the utmost respect for keeping things balanced. Capricorn (December 22-January 19) — Capricorns really know what's best, and they have a hard time refraining from showing disappointment. While these moms sure know how to parent with an understanding that people should be treated with love and respect, it can be hard for the Capricorn to relax and trust that others parent differently.
Aquarius (January 20-February 18) — Yes, Aquarius can be a lot of fun. Their hippy-like nature is emphatic and tempting. However, they're also really hard to peg down.
