If given the opportunity to spend a day with any mother-daughter celebrity duo [1], it hands down has to be Amy Adams [2] and her daughter, Aviana, whom she shares with husband Darren Le Gallo. From what we've been able to gather from interviews with the Enchanted actress [3], her daughter is a hoot and isn't afraid to make fun of her mom, especially in public. "She doesn't think of me as an actress as all [4]," Adams said on The Graham Norton Show. "She'll make fun of me for it, like when I FaceTime her she goes, 'Oh! My! God! It's Amy Adams [5]!'" the mom intimated in a high pitch squeal. Though, Adams truly wouldn't have it any other way, adding, Avi is "so cool" and "I'm just 'Mama' to her." Aviana Olea Le Gallo
Adams and Le Gallo's little girl, Aviana Olea Le Gallo, was born on May 15, 2010, and with an unique name like Aviana, you'd be right to assume there's a special backstory there. During an episode of the Rachel Ray Show, Adams explained the name Aviana was a nod to where she, Adams, was born [8] in Aviano, Italy. "We had picked out a whole bunch of other names as well . . . [but] when she was born we just kept calling her, 'Avi, Avi, Avi,' so we just went with Aviana.'" The new mom at the time added Avi is the most mellow baby, and actually makes her feel more zen than stressed or tired.
With an almost preteen on the loose, Adams never misses an opportunity to gush and joke about Avi and their funny-cute relationship. "I made her take ballet and I told her she could quit when she was 10, and it was like 30 seconds after she turned 10, she was like, 'Are we good? Have I done it? [9]'" Adams laughed during a virtual appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
