Amy Schumer's son, Gene, is growing up so fast [1]! The 16-month-old recently surprised his proud mum when they recorded a message for her husband (and Gene's dad), Chris Fischer. "We just wanted to say hi, Daddy, we miss you, and we hope you're having a fun day," Amy told the camera before prompting Gene to say, "Dad."

To her unexpected delight, Gene followed Amy's lead and said the word for the first time. The excitement that followed was actually so shocking, Gene burst into tears in the middle of the celebration. "This video was clearly a surprise to us," Amy wrote when she shared the clip on Instagram. "Getting to experience these first moments with my son makes me feel so lucky."

This sweet experience with Gene prompted Amy to think about her fellow mum, Angela Henry, who lost her son, Danroy "DJ" Henry, after he was shot by a white police officer in 2010. "I think of my friend Angela Henry's son," Amy continued in the caption. "I would like to ask anyone reading this to google DJ Henry."
