Ashley Graham hasn't been shy when it comes to sharing the less-than-glamorous moments [3] associated with being a new parent. And while dealing with a blowout in Staples [4] isn't exactly an enjoyable task, she knows that mothers can handle pretty much anything thrown their way. In honour of International Women's Day, the mom of one shared a candid photo of herself during labour [5] with her son, Isaac [6], on Instagram, proving that becoming a mom makes you one tough cookie.
"This is the face of my greatest strength," Ashley captioned the emotional photo of her home birth. "The greatest pain I've ever known and the greatest accomplishment that I've ever achieved. On this International Women's Day understand that despite whatever pain or trial we have all experienced as women, we are also strong, powerful and capable of accomplishing greatness. Happy International Women's Day! Let's all celebrate our, and each other's strengths today."
