Exclusive: Auli'i Cravalho Reads an Excerpt From Disney's New Princess Storybook Collection

Though the highly anticipated Moana series is still a ways away, Disney is offering fans a little something to tide them over: Tales of Courage and Kindness, a digital short story collection with unique illustrations all centreed around the Disney Princesses. In celebration of the release, we're exclusively sharing a preview of Moana's short story read by Auli'i Cravalho herself.

In the soothing story-time snippet, Auli'i details Moana's journey to protect her turtle friend, Fonu. The story, "The Ocean Guardians," is one of 14 in the collection, and several other Disney Princess voices — including Mandy Moore, Anika Noni Rose, and Kelly Marie Tran — will also be reading their corresponding stories in videos available online.
