Bachelor in Paradise’s Carly and Evan Revealed the Sex of Their Baby on This Season’s Finale!
It's a boy! Bachelor in Paradise fan-favourite couple Carly Waddell and Evan Bass revealed the sex of their second child together on the show's sixth season finale on Sept. 17, thanks to some help from Paradise bartender and The Bachelorette alum, Wells Adams. Wells — who is engaged to Modern Family's Sarah Hyland — helped his friends out by dressing in a blue onesie and popping out of a giant cake in front of Carly, Evan, their 19-month-old daughter Bella, and the BIP live studio audience.
"GENDER REVEAL IS FINALLY HERE YOU GUYS!!!!!! And Bella's reaction to the news she's having a LITTLE BROTHER is literally the same reaction every time . . . she's gonna change her tune when she knows she doesn't have to share her shoes (which are her most prized possession right now)," Carly wrote on Instagram following the reveal. Evan wrote on his own account, of Wells, "An ancient proverb: there is no greater friend than he that will lay down his own brand for another by jumping out of a cake."
Carly and Evan share their daughter, Bella, as well as Evan's three sons from a previous relationship, Ensley, Liam, and Nathan. Evan wanted to do something special for this little guy's gender reveal, as this baby boy will be the couple's last child, according to ET. Clarifying the decision, Carly said back in June: "Pregnancy is really hard. I feel fine now that I'm, like, almost over the hump, but I'm bad that first trimester. I'm just so sick."
