Like most parents trying to keep their kids busy at home, mom Kathryn Pendleton Santistevan is spending as much time outside as possible. So when her Disney-obsessed sons — 7-year-old Leo and 10-year-old Will — suggested creating an at-home version of the park's Fantasmic! experience in the backyard, she happily obliged.

"We have an hour of creative time every day, and on this particular day, Los Angeles was going through a heatwave," Kathryn told POPSUGAR. "My kids are obsessed with Disneyland, especially the Fantasmic! show. While I was putting an outfit together for Leo, Will quickly choreographed a water routine, and the rest is history. We ran through it once and then did the final recording. The magic literally created itself right before my eyes!"
