In her second week of bed rest [3], Chrissy Teigen is promising her baby boy [4] that their period of relaxation to keep him growing is going to be worth it. The mom of two [5] shared in early September that she'd been put on "super serious bed rest times" due to a weak placenta and has been appearing in bed on her Instagram ever since. On Sept. 24, Chrissy shared a "first look" at her son thanks to a 3D ultrasound photo, but it's her message to him that's making us the most emotional.
"Hi my sweet strong boy," she wrote on the photo, which she posted in her Stories. "You are working so hard, I promise it'll be worth it!!!"
Chrissy originally shared that she'd be on bed rest until Sept. 22 but was still entertaining us from her bedroom as of the 24th, so we're wishing her and her baby boy — who is likely due in early 2021 [7] — the best. With 4-year-old Luna running her mama a bath every night [8], we'd say she's doing fairly OK as of now, given the circumstances!
