Watch Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera Bond Over Kids

The Audacity! Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera's Kids "Shush" Them When They Sing

Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera are two of the most talented and respected singers out there, but for them, family always comes first. On Monday, Christina sat down on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where they fangirled over each other and bonded over the conundrums they both face as mothers on tour. Christina explained to Kelly that prior to the tour she's on right now, she hadn't toured in 10 years because of her kids. (Christina and Matthew Rutler have a 5-year-old daughter named Summer Rain, and she also has an 11-year-old son with her ex, Jordan Bratman.)

"I got really scared," Christina said about touring as a mother. "I'm like, 'How do people do this?' I know kids need routine and structure with bedtime. How are you supposed to do that when you're in different time zones every night and things are changing?" Kelly also had the same sentiment after she and Brandon Blackstock welcomed their daughter River Rose in 2014. "I cried when I first had River," she said. "I cried almost every night. It's so hard because you don't want to be an absentee mom." They also have a 3-year-old son, Remington Alexander, and Kelly is a stepmom to Brandon's two kids from a previous relationship.

But now that both of their daughters are older, they have their own routines and the ability to keep their very famous moms humble. Both Kelly and Christina laughed at how they sing to their daughters before bed, and both Summer and River shush their moms. "People pay for this!" Kelly joked.
