Born on March 23, 2001, Sophia Eva Pietra Meloni is the couple's eldest child and only daughter. In a 2017 episode of The View, The Happy! actor joked that Sophia doubles as his daughter and in-home stylist: "Usually it's the parent that goes 'no...you're not walking out of the house dressed like that,' but it's my daughter going 'Dad, let me see. Turn around. Go back upstairs!'"

Dante Amadeo Meloni was born on Jan. 2, 2004 and is the couple's youngest child and only son. The 17-year-old isn't on social media, but his dad does share a few glimpses into their California life together at home. Chris told USA Today that his main goal when it comes to parenting is empowering his kids. "I remember not having any power when I was growing up," he recalled. "Power helps kids mature, and it requires critical thinking on their part. They feel engaged in a decision, which makes them feel engaged in the family process."
