Brody Schaffer, the 4-year-old dancing sensation known for his passion for ballet [1], was recently interviewed on The Kelly Clarkson Show alongside his mom, Danielle. Between his impressive Instagram following [2] and recent feature in Niall Horan's music video for "No Judgement," [3] Brody is inspiring kids everywhere to pursue their dreams and break gender stereotypes [4].
According to Danielle, Brody has loved to move his body since before he was even born. "He started dancing in the womb," she told Kelly. "I always listened to music. We listen to music in our house like 24 hours a day. We love music. He's a late walker, to be honest. It was around 18 months when he started to walk, but the dancing, I say, started at 12 months. He was moving his body like no other."

Danielle and her husband instantly recognised Brody's rhythm and began to foster their son's passion. Now, Brody dances from morning until night. "Most importantly, I feel like he's representing change, that children can be who they are meant to be," said Danielle. "And that's the biggest thing, is that all the messages that we get, like, 'Oh my gosh, you let your child dance,' 'Oh my gosh, you let him wear a costume; we love that about you.' And I think that there's a bigger picture behind the little boy that dances and does ballet and wears a dress."
