Demi Moore on Sheltering in Place With Bruce Willis, Their Kids, and His Wife: "It Was Amazing"
Demi Moore is reflecting on the positives that came out of sheltering in place in the beginning of 2020: she was able to spend tons of time with her whole family, including her ex-husband, Bruce Willis. Demi's stay-at-home crew first included her daughters, Rumer, 32 Scout, 29, and Tallulah, 27, the younger two sister's partners, and Bruce, who joined them in Idaho in mid-March. Once Bruce's youngest daughters, 8-year-old Mabel and 6-year-old Evelyn, were finished with school, they joined the party alongside Bruce's wife, Emma Heming Willis.
"There's been a lot of challenges and a lot tragedy with the pandemic, but I also think there's been a lot of gifts and blessings," Demi told Naomi Campbell during the Feb. 2 episode of the model's series, No Filter with Naomi. "I personally feel like I was really grateful for things slowing down and the time that we had. It worked out that Bruce came and spent time with us and then his current wife and their small daughters joined a little bit later."
Demi continued, reflecting on the fact that their immediate family hadn't been able to have that kind of time together in so long. "It was really a blessing. And I think that [the pandemic] also brought forward an incredible opportunity for going inward and raising our own consciousness, I think as individuals, but also, I feel, globally. Everything that's come forward [has] allowed us to reevaluate what's important and what needs attention that has been overlooked and neglected."

Demi stressed how wonderful it was to also have Bruce's family in the mix. "It was amazing. My daughters love their little sisters," she said of the relationship her three daughters have with Mabel and Evelyn. "And for me, our family, regardless of what the shape of it is, it's important to keep together and for the little ones to feel comfortable with me and to know me so they also know their sisters better. It was really sweet and we did have some silly times for sure."
