Looking for a feel-good flick for your family's next movie night? Then you're in luck, because Flora & Ulysses will be available to stream on Disney+ beginning Feb. 19. Based on the Newbery Medal-winning book by the same name, the story follows Flora (played by Matilda Lawler), a witty, comic-book-obsessed 10-year-old who befriends an adorable — albeit troublesome! — squirrel named Ulysses.

Chock-full of hilarious hijinks and blessed with an incredibly charming cast — Alyson Hannigan and Ben Schwartz star as Flora's parents! — this sweet film will leave your children feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

While this movie is rated PG, it may resonate more with older kiddos given some of its mature storylines. For example, at one point, Flora's friend William Spiver (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth), who has been rendered temporarily blind, claims he pushed his stepfather's car into a lake out of frustration. Additionally, there's some talk about euthanizing animals and a brief moment of violence when Flora's mom punches an animal control officer (Danny Pudi) in the face.

Perfect for animal-obsessed kids or children who just want a good laugh, Flora & Ulysses will likely be a new go-to title in your household. Scroll ahead to learn why families should stream this movie ASAP.
