A new show is coming to Disney Junior in May, and the theme song is already stuck in our heads. The Chicken Squad, an animated series about three chicken siblings who love to help out in their community, is inspired by Doreen Cronin's children's books of the same name.

"Say hello to the Chicken Squad, the world's greatest team of backyard helpers!" reads the show's description under its theme-song video on YouTube. "This sibling trio (Coop, Sweetie, and Little Boo) is a team of eager community helpers and clever problem-solvers. With guidance from their mentor, a retired search-and-rescue dog named Captain Tully, they lead with kindness, learn from their mistakes, and take joy in helping their neighbours. Whether they're finding lost food, rescuing a puppy from a creek, or having fun figuring out how their mom's prized flowers got trampled, the Chicken Squad is always there to lend a wing."

Voicing the chicken trio are Ramone Hamilton as Coop, Gabriella Graves as Sweetie, and Maxwell Simkins as Little Boo, while Captain Tully is voiced by Yvette Nicole Brown. Recurring guest voice stars include Tony Hale, Jane Lynch, Melissa Rauch, Sean Giambrone, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Melissa Villaseñor, and Zack Pearlman.

The Chicken Squad premieres on Disney Junior with two back-to-back episodes on May 14 at 7:30 p.m. local time. Listen to the show's catchy theme song above and see early looks from the series ahead.
