Disney Junior's newest series for preschoolers [1], Mira, Royal Detective, will follow Mira, a young girl who's growing up in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur and is given the official job of "Royal Detective" by the queen. Along with her friend, cousin, and mongoose sidekicks Mikku and Chikku, Mira will go on adventures to solve mysteries, and in turn, help kids ages 2 through 7 develop their critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills.

When Does Mira, Royal Detective Air?
The first episode of Mira, Royal Detective will air on Disney Junior on March 20 at 7 p.m. local time. According to a press release, "Each episode is comprised of two 11-minute stories that celebrate the cultures and customs of India by incorporating authentic food, fashion, language and art. Reflecting their importance in Indian culture, music and dance play an integral role in Mira, Royal Detective, with each episode featuring at least one original song and dance number that showcases the diversity of the culture."
Will There Be a Season 2 of Mira, Royal Detective?
Yes! Before the show's first episode aired on Disney Junior, a second season was ordered. "Mira, Royal Detective hasn't even premiered yet, and we have already seen the excitement building for this series featuring a brave and empowered young girl who will stop at nothing to solve a case," said Joe D'Ambrosia, senior vice president, Original Programming and general manager, Disney Junior, during a special advance screening of the series. "To ensure that we have plenty of new mysteries ahead for Mira, we are thrilled to begin production on a second season and can't wait to introduce her to the world."
