After marrying José Bastón in Mexico on May 21, 2016, Eva Longoria became a stepmother to José's three older kids, Natalia, Mariana, and José. Then, two years after saying "I do," the Desperate Housewives alum welcomed her first child with José. While introducing her newborn on social media, the new mom used her announcement post to support children who were being separated from their families at the US-Mexico border.
"Thank you everyone for showering my baby boy with all your warm wishes!" Eva wrote. "In light of my son's birth I wanted to bring focus on the families that have been separated at the border. Having my son next to me, I cannot imagine him being taken from my arms. Families belong together which is why we must do what we can to reunite them. That's why I am supporting @raicestexas and @aclu_nationwide to help fund legal services for separated families . . . #KeepFamiliesTogether."
