These 10 YouTube Channels Will Help Your Kids Burn Their Boundless Energy

Ahh, to be young and have boundless energy. Although many of us don't remember what that's like, we're all definitely feeling the effects of cooped up energetic kiddos stuck at home right now [1]. While family walks are a great way to get some fresh air and vitamin D, sometimes kids just need to move. Whether it's raining outside or you need the kids to shake their sillies out indoors because you're trying to work from home [2], these various movement and exercise videos for kids are here to help.

Scroll through for some of our favourite kids' YouTube channels and videos that all encourage exercise [3] and fun (and sometimes learning!) so that your kids can burn off their endless amounts energy.

Cosmic Kids

Cosmic Kids [5] is more than just yoga for littles — kids ages 3 and up will get a light workout, sure, but they'll also learn meditation and relaxation tips. This Moana-themed yoga video is so cute!

The Kiboomers

The Kiboomers has so many cute dance videos for kids [7], from the above "Freeze Dance" session to one that encourages kids to count to 100 while moving their feet [8].

KIDZ BOP

Forget just singing along! The KIDZ BOP [9] YouTube channel has a full playlist of its KIDZ BOP Dance Along Songs [10], some that are pure fun dance videos, others that include strength or cardio warmups.

Even though Just Dance [13] is best-played on gaming systems like Nintendo Switch and Wii, the video game's YouTube Channel features tons of gameplay videos [14] (without the controller connectivity, of course). Your kids can dance along to songs like "Into the Unknown" from Frozen 2 without the pressure of performing the moves "correctly" for the sake of the game, and can just have some fun.
