Gwen Stefani [1] says that boyfriend and The Voice co-star Blake Shelton is earning major points with her when it comes to how he is with her three kids [2], Kingston, 13, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 5. In an interview with Today's Hoda Kotb [3] and guest interviewer, new dad Andy Cohen [4], Gwen shared that life with three boys can get hectic, but Blake's jumped right in to help her care for her sons — whom she shares with ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale [5].

When Hoda inquired about whether or not she thinks Blake would make for a good father, she said: "He is a good dad, actually. He's been helping me out a lot." She added, "I literally get to the point where I'm like, 'You gotta get home, I need some help.' It's hard. I've got three boys."

Although there's no word regarding the couple's family growing in the future, everything seems to be wonderful for them right now, as is. "Life is full of surprises," Gwen said. "I just never thought in my wildest dreams that, on paper, a cowboy and a ska girl from Anaheim would be hanging out, but it works perfect and we're just having so much fun and we just feel so blessed to be at this point in our lives."
