Jennifer Lopez Shares Super Bowl Video With Emme

Jennifer Lopez Made Every Moment Count With Emme Before Their Super Bowl Halftime Show

Jennifer Lopez shook the nation with her and Shakira's Super Bowl halftime performance on Sunday night, and it turns out the moments you didn't get to see were just as incredible as the ones onstage. The "Medicine" singer shared a few clips from before the show on YouTube, which included a little one-on-one time with her 11-year-old daughter Emme. My heart melted when Jennifer took Emme in a big hug, especially knowing that Emme would be making her own big game debut minutes later.

"These moments were captured just a few minutes before we hit the stage last night," Jennifer captioned the touching video. "All I want my girls, the little girls on stage with me and all over the world to know is how to use their voices and be proud of everything they are. Other people can try to build walls, keep us out or put us in cages. We are proud to recognise that all of us together are what makes this beautiful country truly great."

Jennifer's message isn't just a supportive note for her daughter, it's an allusion to a political statement she made during the show. It's clear she was thinking of children everywhere, not just her own, during the impactful performance. Watch the clip above to see exactly how Jennifer and Emme hyped each other up before the show.
