Actress Julianne Moore and her film director and producer husband, Bart Freundlich, share two kids together who may just be following in their parents' entertainment industry footsteps. The couple, who got married in 2003 after welcoming both of their children, made the 2005 movie Trust the Man a family affair. Bart directed, Julianne starred, and both of their children had minor roles. Since then, both of their kids have appeared in other movies — so fun!

Caleb "Cal" Freundlich
Julianne and Bart's oldest child, a son named Caleb — who goes by Cal — was born on Dec. 4, 1997. Following his parents' lead, Cal made his acting debut in a small role alongside his mom in Trust the Man. In 2014, Cal appeared in Still Alice, also starring his famous mama and directed by his dad.
Since graduating from Davidson College in May 2020 [2], Cal has paved his way in the entertainment industry as a film composer and songwriter who plays multiple instruments. The two titles appear in his Instagram bio and he's credited as the composer for the 2021 documentary film, A Valley Divided [3].
On his 22nd birthday, Julianne celebrated her son and gushed about how proud she is of him and his accomplishments in a post to Instagram. "Happy Birthday to the man who made me a mom," she wrote. "I love you so much @cal_freundlich and am proud of everything you have achieved, but mostly of who you are and have always been. Enjoy your birthday but be careful ok? I can't help it."
Liv Helen Moore Freundlich
Julianne and Bart's youngest child, a daughter named Liv, was born on April 8, 2002. Not only does she look just like her famous mom, but Liv, too, has a couple of acting jobs under her belt. In addition to having a small role in Trust the Man like her brother, she also played a part in The Rebound, which was written and directed by her dad. Although we don't know yet what her plans will be after getting her degree from Northwestern University, we're excited to see if she'll choose to follow in her mom's footsteps or pave her own path.
In honour of her 19th birthday, Julianne celebrated her daughter and commented on one of the positive aspects of a year at home for their family: getting ample time with Liv. "Happy 19th birthday to my baby girl," she wrote. "I love you so much and I am so grateful for all the time we had together this year. You are the best daughter a mother could have and I am so so so proud of you. I love you so much @livfreundlich ❤️"
