Kate Winslet's Daughter's "Under-the-Radar" Acting Career Is a Surprise to Everyone but Her
Kate Winslet's daughter, Mia Honey Threapleton, is following in her mom's footsteps. In an interview with TV presenter Lorraine Kelly on April 19, the mom of three shared that 20-year-old Mia is an actress, currently working on a TV series in the Czech Republic. "That's been a wonderful thing that I think I knew was coming actually," Kate said. "I think I always suspected [she wanted to act]. And then sure enough, a couple of years ago, she turned around and said, 'I think I'd like to give it a go.'"

Though Mia may have inherited Kate's acting skills, Kate explained that thanks to their different last names, many are unaware of the connection between the mother-daughter duo. "Of course, that was my biggest fear and most important for her self-esteem." Kate shares Mia, who recently starred in Shadows last year, with her ex-husband and director Jim Threapleton.
Mia isn't the only one who's interested in the acting world.
