Kristen Bell Says Her 5-Year-Old is Still in Nappies

Kristen Bell Gets Candid About Her 5-Year-Old Still Potty Training: "Every Kid Is So Different"

Momsplaining with Kristen Bell is the relatable entertainment we need during these tough times, and this week's episode was no different. The former Good Place actress sat with friends and fellow celebrity moms, Maya Rudolph and Casey Wilson, to discuss mom-judgement. In an honest yet comedic conversation in true Kristen fashion, she admitted that her youngest daughter, Delta, is still in nappies at five years old, while her older daughter, Lincoln, was potty-trained at 21 months.

"I did once go through the whole, 'my daughter is so easy' phase," she said. "My oldest daughter, at 21 months, we merely suggested that she use the toilet in the other room. . . never wore a nappy beyond that. We were lying in bed, giggling about this, my husband and I, like, 'Why does everyone make a big deal about potty training? It's so easy.'" On the other hand, she said, "Currently, my youngest is five and a half, still in nappies."

"It's all relative, isn't it?"

"It's all relative, isn't it?," Maya responded. It certainly is, and as Kristen said, every child is so different. Check out the video above to watch the moms play an amusing game of "Never Have I Ever" and discuss their parenting struggles in quarantine.
