I never thought I'd have much in common with someone whose mother is a Grammy Award-winning, bestselling artist [3], but Mariah Carey's 8-year-old daughter, Monroe [4], proved me wrong today. On Sept. 10, the singer took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and Monroe shopping at Target, and it's the caption and story behind the pic that both take the cake. "Me: pick anywhere in the world you want to go to for a shopping spree. My daughter:," Mariah captioned the photo.
I can honestly admit that I probably would've made the same choice (though I, admittedly, don't have millions of dollars at my disposal), and judging by all of the celebs applauding her pick in the comments section, I'm not the only one. I mean, have you seen Target's Halloween selection [5]? It's pretty much the gift that keeps on giving, and if it's good enough for Mariah and her family, then I'm choosing to spend my money there guilt-free from here on out.
