MMA Announcer Bruce Buffer Records Cameo Birth Announcements

MMA Announcer Now Records Epic Birth Announcements: "Weighing In at 8 Pounds 2 Ounces!"

Sure, you can send a group text revealing the birth of your baby, but where's the gravitas in that? You can post a sweet image on Instagram, but that's just lacking in suspense.

No, the only right way to introduce a newborn baby into the world is via famed UFC mixed martial arts ring announcer Bruce Buffer. No clue who he is? It doesn't even matter. If you've seen any boxing or MMA movies in the last few decades, you know the pomp and circumstance that goes into announcing the night's main event.

"I'd make a reaction video, but it would just be a new mom happy ugly crying because of how amazing this announcement was."

And if you watch his latest birth announcement, delivered to new dad Darren Russell, you'll see just how memorable it is:

"Aaaand nowwwww, on this very special day, Wednesday April 21, a veeeery special boooy was born at 10:59 a.m. to parents Darren and Haaaaley Russell and joining his siblings Eva aaaand George! And now this is the moment we've aaaaall been waaaaiting for! Weighing in at 8 pounds 2 ounces, iiiiit's tiiiiime to welcome the future chaaampion of the wooooooorld, Mason Williaaaam Russeeeeeelllll!"

Reading it doesn't even do it justice, right?

But how, you may ask, could anyone living outside of professional martial arts arenas get the likes of Bruce to announce their baby's birth? Thanks to Cameo, a celebrity video-sharing app, Bruce will record an epic announcement for literally anyone within just three hours of their request. Although the video will be priceless, it'll also set you back $299.

Darren isn't the only satisfied customer. In early May, a mother left a review on Cameo of Bruce's announcement of the birth of her daughter.

"Bruce did an amazing job," she wrote. "The video was prefer and worth every penny. I'd make a reaction video, but it would just be a new mom happy ugly crying because of how amazing this announcement was."

So to any expecting parents out there, as Bruce's famous catchphrase goes, "it's time" you upgraded your birth announcement plans!
