Mo Willems's Free Virtual Lunch Doodles Sessions For Kids

Mo Willems Is Hosting Free Online "Lunch Doodles" While Kids Are Home From School

Celebrated American children's book author and illustrator Mo Willems recently announced he'll be hosting free virtual "Lunch Doodle" sessions for children every day at 1 p.m. ET on the Kennedy Centre's YouTube channel. The author of dozens of household favourites like Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! and We Are in a Book! is making art accessible to kids who are stuck at home and in need of a little mental stimulation.

"I know a lot of you guys are not in school, you're at home right now because of all the things that are going on," he said in a video on March 16. "Well guess what? I'm at home, too. So for the next couple weeks, every day at 1 o'clock Eastern time, I'm going to do a lunch doodles with you. I'm going to make drawings with you, I'm gonna show you some stuff about my studio, and we're gonna hang out together."

Pretty cool, right? Scroll through to get a look at some of the clips he's recorded so far.
