Nickelodeon Is Opening the Largest Indoor Theme Park

Nickelodeon Is Opening a Massive Indoor Theme Park, and Yes, There's a Reptar Ride

Nickelodeon is expanding its universe — its Nickelodeon Universe theme park, that is. On Oct. 25, the quirky children's television network will welcome visitors to its second-ever amusement park at the American Dream mallin East Rutherford, NJ. (The first is located in the famous Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.) When it opens, the eight-acre park will be the largest indoor theme park in North America.

So what'll be inhabiting those eight acres? Based on constructions photos, it seems like there'll be a cute Blue's Clues carousel, a spinning SpongeBob SquarePants ride, and the Nickelodeon Skyline Scream, which will be the world's tallest indoor spinning drop tower. The park will also host live entertainment, food, and shops.

Tickets to Nickelodeon Universe are already available online, however, opening weekend tickets appear to be sold out. A general access ticket is priced at $40, while the $50 ticket will give visitors access to all rides. As we await its grand opening, see pictures of the park under construction ahead.
