How Many Kids Does Orlando Bloom Have?

Everything We Know About Orlando Bloom’s Adorable Son, Flynn

Although Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr were only married for three years, the pair are forever bonded through their shared son. Both Orlando and Miranda keep the young boy out of the spotlight, but he has made a public appearance or two, is — though rarely — highlighted on Instagram, and is sometimes discussed when his parents and parents' partners make appearances on talk shows.

Flynn Christopher Bloom

Born on Jan. 6, 2011, Flynn is Orlando's only child. However, Flynn does have a younger stepbrother, Hart, whom his mom shares with her husband — and Flynn's stepdad — Evan Spiegel (he's also about to be an older brother again, when Miranda has her third child).

When Flynn was born, Miranda said that he looked just like Orlando when he was a baby, and shared that his middle name was inspired by her late ex-boyfriend. "Chris and I had been dating for two years," she said at the time. "After he died, I wrote him a letter that said I hoped to name my first child after him in some way. I told Orlando, and he was the one who said he'd be happy to do that. Orlando's a good guy."

Flynn is rarely seen publicly, but did make an appearance at 3 years old when Orlando received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2014. Orlando has opened up about his son here and there in the past, but we've heard even more about him since Orlando started dating Katy Perry. In June, Orlando shared a video of Flynn harnessed up on an adventure course during Katy's Firework Foundation's Camp Firework and commented on how great the experience was for Flynn.

On the flip side, in August, Katy shared how having Flynn around has matured her, especially when it comes to handling a family morning routine. "We have to be out the door at 7:30 to be there at 8:15 and we cannot be late," she told Ellen DeGeneres during an interview. "Which means now you're a morning person. I used to not wake up till, like, 11 a.m. and now I'm in bed like a normal person at 10 p.m., just like falling asleep. I guess this has definitely matured me."
