Pink has always felt utterly relatable as a mom, but I've never felt more in sync with her than in her latest Instagram post, in which she admits how time has made her reconsider her proximity to her parents.
After her dad sent her an old photo featuring Pink with a pint-sized Willow, Pink got a bit nostalgic.
"I can't believe how little she was," she wrote of her daughter. "How simple it was. When I got grown, I moved as far away from my family as I could while still being in the same country. And now, I wish I lived next door."
As someone who pulled the same stunt but now has two kids with the nearest grandparents residing a half-day's drive away, I can tell you that her words were some I've thought to myself more and more lately.
"I wish my kids could walk to their house and have a cookie I wouldn't approve of," she jokingly added. "I don't believe in regrets, but I do believe in growth, and change. And I miss my dad."
I don't know about you, but if even Pink – with all her access – is wishing she were closer to her folks, you can bet she has me strongly considering a move back home.
