Prince Louis Apparently Hates Social Distancing Because He Likes to "Cuddle Everything"

14/07/2020 - 12:20 PM

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM - JUNE 08: (EMBARGOED FOR PUBLICATION IN UK NEWSPAPERS UNTIL 24 HOURS AFTER CREATE DATE AND TIME) Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Louis of Cambridge watch a flypast from the balcony of Buckingham Palace during Trooping The Colour, the Queen's annual birthday parade, on June 8, 2019 in London, England. The annual ceremony involving over 1400 guardsmen and cavalry, is believed to have first been performed during the reign of King Charles II. The parade marks the official birthday of the Sovereign, although the Queen's actual birthday is on April 21st. (Photo by Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty Images)

The Duchess of Cambridge [1] appeared on BBC Breakfast this morning to speak about her latest initiative, Tiny Happy People [2] — an online learning resource for parents and carers. During the interview with Louise Minchin, she admitted that the adorable Prince Louis [3] is having a tough time with understanding social distancing regulations. "Louis doesn't understand social distancing," The Duchess said. "So, he goes out wanting to cuddle everything, and particularly any babies younger than him." Well, that might just be the most adorable thing we've heard in months.

Throughout the UK's lockdown, there have been very few public appearances by the small royals, which is completely understandable, given the circumstances. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been isolating with their three children [4] — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — at Anmer Hall, in Sandringham. As lockdown measures continue to ease around much of the country, we hope to see them out and about soon, once it's safe to do so.
